R&K Team Gives Presentation at the GovLoop and Esri MapUp 2017

Executive Vice President, Frank Quigley, Senior Consultant, William Wingfield, GoRPM^® Product Manager, Michael Nichols, and Chief Engineer and Program Manager, Gary Calese of R&K Solutions teamed up to provide a presentation for GovLoop and Esri's Smart Installation MapUp training session in Washington, D.C. on August 24th, 2017

R&K provided a real-world example of how its real property and facilities functional and technical expertise were applied using its GoRPM enterprise geospatial real property management software in combination with the Esri ArcGIS Platform. R&K used these Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) technologies to collect, integrate and analyze a variety of different and isolated data. R&K's work included implementing a number of industry data standards, converting CAD floor plans to GIS and employing GoRPM's REST web services to seamlessly exchange data with ENERGY STAR^® Portfolio Manager^®.

As a result, the client can view and manage its real property inventory data in a GIS platform, with maps and floor plans, to provide information about the locations and data associated with departments, cost centers, hazardous materials, fire and life safety, emergency management and more.

By leveraging GoRPM analytic capabilities, the organization can quickly and easily identify its space allocations, vacant space, energy use and costs, and capital requirements. With trends, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and forecasts provided in dashboards and automated reports, the organization is now empowered the strategically manage its portfolio and make smart investment decisions.
