Michael Nichols is the Executive Vice President of Enterprise Products and Solutions. Before being named an Executive Vice President, Michael was an Assistant Director at the R&K Solutions office in Roanoke, Virginia. During his tenure with the company, he has worked in a wide range of areas including product management, project management, network and systems administration, marketing, and sales. Prior to joining R&K in 1999, Michael worked for several startup firms in the Blacksburg, Virginia area, providing support to Federal, State, and Commercial clients. He earned his Master's degree in Business Administration with an Information Security Concentration from James Madison University and a Bachelor's degree in Management Science and Information Technology, Decision Support Systems from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.

Chris Barns is the Vice President of Real Property Consulting Services. Before being named Vice President, Chris served as a Director in the Enterprise Products and Solutions sector at the R&K Solutions office in Roanoke, Virginia. During his tenure at R&K, he has led a wide range of projects for clients, including the U.S. Federal and State Governments, higher education institutions, healthcare organizations, and commercial real estate management firms. Prior to joining R&K in 2013, Chris spent 12 years with the Navy in both active duty and civil service roles. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology with a concentration in Database/Software Engineering from Radford University.
