Esri ArcGIS Indoors Training

R&K Solutions GIS professionals attended the Esri Indoors Training on February 27 - March 1.

In 2018, Esri announced a new product called ArcGIS Indoors. ArcGIS Indoors provides 3D maps, data and location information for indoor spaces. This solution delivers real-time building information for spatially-aware asset monitoring and analysis that facilitates collaboration and enhances productivity. With indoor maps, organizations can spend less time coordinating resources with their facilities and more time exploring their data to operate more efficiently and competitively.

R&K's GIS Professional, Andrew Hoover, and Systems Implementation Specialist, Chris Barns, had the opportunity to work with ArcGIS Indoors at the hands-on workshop hosted by Esri in Redlands, CA. They learned about how ArcGIS Indoors can allow a variety of solutions for navigating buildings through visualization, wayfinding and web/mobile applications. This solution can aid our clients in creating a high-tech interaction for the way they route their customers through their facilities.
