For over 35 years, R&K has specialized in services and software that empower clients to strategically manage their real property assets in alignment with their business and mission goals. Over time, new applications and systems get pieced together with legacy systems, and an organization's systems and architecture often become fragmented, rigid and slow to react to new internal or environmental conditions.
R&K evaluates the issues surrounding your IT architecture and develops plans to transform how it will be built, maintained and supported. We look for new ways to make applications and business processes do more to support your goals and objective.
R&K offers extensive experience in the modernization or integration of your legacy systems to optimize efficiency and accessibility while preserving their functional value. We specialize in support for major migrations, including re-hosting, re-engineering and consolidation to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products. Modernizing and modifying existing systems can be a viable low-cost option which increases productivity and operational performance.
Our expert analysis is supplemented by support design, installation (to include database conversion and integration), training and ongoing support for a variety of platforms and languages.
R&K assisted DLA with real property, system and management support to the DLA under numerous contracts and task orders, valuing R&K's high quality of work, careful and consistent compliance with schedules and tight cost control. The DLA Enterprise Business System (EBS) integrated all aspects of real property inventory and reporting. R&K Solutions has supported the development and operations of EBS through design, system planning, data mapping and extraction work, test run support, implementation of the EBS Real Estate Flexible Module (REFX), EBS Increment II and GIS support to SRM-E, a DLA-Energy web application used to manage facility and equipment repairs.
R&K provided operation and sustainment of the Commanding Officer Readiness Reporting System (CORRS) and Facility Degradation System. This assistance included data analysis, revising current processes to include cost factors, standards, instructions and software and providing a reporting interface consistent with the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) while maintaining and revising the hierarchy and relationship of missions, mission essential tasks and facilities. The Facility Degradation System was updated to include migration to a web-based application and R&K provided distance-based and classroom user training.
